Nokia 7.1 Specifications

The glass sandwich Nokia 7.1 features a Gorilla Glass 3 covered main 5.84in Full HD+ tall 19:9 IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. The display is HDR10 compliant.

The performance is managed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled to an Adreno 509 GPU aided by 3GB of RAM on the 32GB internal variant and 4GB of RAM on the 64GB internal storage variant. With that said, the internal memory is, of course, expandable, as the device is equipped with a memory card slot (SIM2 slot) (up to 400GB). Coming to biometrics, a fingerprint scanner is present at the rear of the device.

Dual Camera setup

Photography is handled by a dual camera setup at the rear featuring a primary 12MP (Dual Pixel AF) (f/1.8 lens) + 5MP (f/2.4) (depth) sensors combo assisted by an LED flash. An 8MP (f/2.0) selfie camera is available for selfieholics. Both rear and front-facing cameras are able to record videos at a resolution of up to 2160p @ 30fps and 1080p videos @ 30fps respectively.

Battery Power and charging, connectivity and Android OS

An okish 3060 mAh battery is onboard to keep the device going. With that said, the 7.1 is equipped with a USB-C port for charging and data transfers. Speaking of which, the device features fast battery charging (9V x 2A) which helps the battery fill up 50% full in 30 minutes.

Coming to the connectivity side of the device, it has you all covered with Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Bluetooth 5.0 LE with support for aptX audio codec, A2DP and EDR, GPS for navigation and location-based services and more are onboard. Thankfully, a 3.5mm audio jack lives in the device for all audiophile out there.

At launch, the Nokia 7.1 shipped with Stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. However, HMD Global released the Android 9.0 Pie update back in late November of 2018.

The Nokia 7.1 is available in India on Flipkart and Amazon India. The device is available in Gloss Steel or Gloss Midnight Blue paint jobs.
