Powered by a Samsung baked Exynos 9611 chipset. The CPU is coupled to a Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor. This whole setup is paired with 4GB of RAM along with just meager 64GB of internal storage. Speaking of which, a MicroSD card slot is available for storage expansion (up to 512GB).
Visuals are provided by a 6.3-inch IPS LCD. The IPS panel is Full HD+ in resolution. Precisely 1080 x 2340 px (same as the two vertical wallpapers). The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Also, the phone can be used with gloves when it is wet. As far as biometric authentication is concerned, we have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button.
Two Camera system
A simple dual camera is present in the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. As in, we have a primary 25MP wide-angle camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide module. A Dual-LED flash is equipped for low light photography. Both front and rear cameras can record videos at a resolution of up to 1080p @ 30 fps.
Battery, Android version, pricing, and availability
A 4050 mAh battery pack is inside the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. Having said that, Adaptive Fast Charging at 15W is present. Android 10 based One UI 2.0 boots up the Samsung XCover Pro. As for pricing, the rugged smartphone will set you back €500. The beast of a smartphone will be available first in Finland starting January 31. Worldwide availability is yet to be known and confirmed.
